challenges planned & achieved

The challenges are a focus for keeping fit and active and prove nothing can get in my way!

a few things from the list of challenges I’ve done since diagnosis…..

      • March 2016 completed my 3rd consecutive Rushcliffe 10km in a time of 59min 39secs
      • September 2016 started a PD Warrior training regime
      • March 2015 completed the Rushcliffe 10km for a second year in just over 60 minutes.
      • October 2014 finished my second Parkinson’s UK ‘Spooky Sprint’ 10km run
      • June 2014 – managed Ben Nevis and Scafell Pike in 16 hours before my body got the better of me as I attempted the UK 3-peaks challenge to climb Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike & Snowdon in 24 hours….  unfinished business to be continued?
      • March 2014 Completed the Rushcliffe 10km run in 58 minutes
      • July 2013 Presented live on stage at an event in front of 650 people
      • May 2013 Completed the Yorkshire 3-peaks in 11 hours
      • September 2013 Robin Hood half-marathon in under 2h 15m
      • September 2013  interviewed live on BBC Radio about my Parkinson’s
      • February 2013 Climbed Mount Kilimanjaro – 5,895m
      • January 2013 openly told everyone and anyone that I had been diagnosed with Parkinson’s
      • April 2011 diagnosed with Parkinson’s
